The Adobe Illustrator Story
Just in case you ever wondered. Honestly, I had no idea that Illustrator is nearly 27 years old - I think the first time I even launched Illustrator was my freshman or sophomore year of college...

Mission Statement - Weird Al
I had to post this last video from Weird Al's 8 days of videos because it is just so us. Not only is it a song entirely of business buzz words, but of course its done in that F-ing RSA style. Here is a link to the video. Blame Al for hosting his videos on 8 different websites.
I found this to be a really nice refresher on design composition. Also, if you go to THIS ARTICLE ON MOTIONOGRAPHER, you can check out some more great tutorials on creating reels.

8 Days of Weird
Well I wasn't going to post anything at first, but Weird Al is releasing a video every day for 8 days to spread the word about his new album. The first two are pretty entertaining.

I felt compelled to update Dave's previous post from November of last year. I read in an article that these kids struck a deal with Sony for $1.7 million. Dave should be a talent agent.

Adobe CMO
Check out the use of a simple sphere as a main 'character' - similar to this example by Apple, but with a bit more whimsy and little to no text on screen. They do an amazing job breathing life into that little guy using all sorts of the basic animation rules and really slick transitions. I especially like the stark contrast between the reds and the light grey auxiliary elements. The sound design is subtle, yet adds a lot to the piece as well.

Pride
Talk about a feel good video! Some good inspiration for event recap films. And it also makes me wonder how much it cost them for the music… but let's be honest… it's probably a drop in the bucket for Apple.
