Cool Doc. Style Part 2

Hey guys here is another one! I am getting really pumped about this style of storytelling and if the last one was cool from a style standpoint this one is cool because it answers a lot of questions we have been talking about. I think it is style agnostic or at least looks topical. They also use video in it in a really cool and interactive way. Finally it is a totally inspirational story and really gets you thinking.

The Digital Creativity Guidebook by Google

I shared this with Chris, but wanted to capture it here as well.  Another "what does google do" animation, this time with a fun animated pop-up-book.  This could be an interesting way to take a slick 2-D animated style like the one Chris continues to perfect, and add another dimension to it.

The Lazy Phone

Let's start things off right with something about Android ;) Motorola has recently attached "a Google company" to their logo and with that comes a Google budget.

To showcase the powers of their new flagship, Motorola has come up with "The Lazy Phone" ad campaign. Being a Google lover in general, I think they are pretty great.

Google Wallet

Another kickass piece for Google, this time made by Wolfberg. I still get a kick out of how they use real stuff, and this application of showing these real different wallets that reveal the new ways they see the Google Wallet working is slick. They could have animated this whole thing, but it wouldn't have been the same.

Through the eyes...

JTiell sent me this link and I thought it was pretty cool. The entire event was captured from the point of view of designers and stylists wearing Google Glass or aka a pair of glasses. I found this link that has more information around what Google Glass is. It sounds like it's meant to be a replacement to a smartphone and includes texting, calling and map capabilities.

Maybe for the next "through the eyes of the customer..." pitch, we can try getting a hold of Google to see if they'd let us borrow a pair of their glasses! :)
