Adam Savage's Ten Commandments of making. The audio kind of sucks and the shoot is super wide, but all that doesn't matter in comparison to the message.
I had no idea that Adam attended the Maker Faire every year. His 1̶0̶ 9 commandments are pretty good; some could be applicable to all sorts of professions. The best part is just the good feeling you get after making (or fixing) something.
I've only been there once but I remember it being pretty cool. It was the same year we bought the Zacuto shoulder rigs and I was talking to a guy about how much it would cost to reproduce something like it. The guy said that it was more difficult than you think. If you have an idea for a piece of video equipment, it would be a great place to network.
