Need more Lens Flare!
We've all done it. You learn a new technique and want to use it as much as possible. Read - J.J. Abrams talks/apologizes about his use of lens flares. What techniques have you overused? For me, it was using 'text-shadow' in CSS. Now when I see it in my work, I just think 'why?'.

ReplyDeleteI remember the first year we attended NAB and sat in on a panel with the editor of the 2009 Star Trek. She recalled how they would often get apologetic letters for the film processors because they said something had happen to the film and she had to explain that that's just the way it was shot by J.J.
